Pricing

What an engagement actually costs, before you talk to us

Every path we sell carries either a published price or a published pricing shape. Below is what each one costs, what you get for the first payment, and what is fixed in writing before any build work starts.

The model

Three pricing shapes, matched to three different risks

A new product, an ageing system, and an unfilled roadmap are not the same commercial problem, so they are not priced the same way.

Fixed scope

Priced and dated up front

Used when the work can be scoped before it starts. A short paid Blueprint produces the scope, then the build carries a fixed price and a fixed delivery date, both in writing.

Launch a Product

Assessment first

Priced firm, then staged

Used when nobody can honestly price the fix until the current state is understood. The assessment itself is priced firmly, and it ends at a decision gate you are free to walk away from.

Automate Operations, Modernize Software

Retainer

Priced to the roles you need

Used when you need ongoing capacity rather than a finished deliverable. There is no fixed end date to promise, so we do not pretend there is one.

Extend Your Product Team

The delivery rate behind the staged work

Assessment and phased delivery run on a standing team of 3 people, each allocated 20 hours a week to your engagement, at a blended rate of $20 an hour. That is $1,200 per week of dedicated capacity, and it is the same rate whether the week goes well or badly. You are buying an outcome and a named team, not timesheets.

Pricing

One published ladder, no hidden day rate

A free fit call qualifies the work. A fixed-price Blueprint removes the scoping risk before anything is built. Then a fixed price and date for the build itself, set by the band the Blueprint puts you in.

Step 1 · Blueprint

A scoped feature list, a clickable prototype, an architecture decision, and a fixed price and date for the build. Credited in full if you go ahead — yours to take elsewhere if you don't.

Assessment-led paths

Automate Operations and Modernize Software

Both start with a firmly priced assessment. You get a written deliverable and a decision gate at the end of it, whether or not you continue with us.

Q-Automate

Operational workflow assessment

$2,400 to $3,6002 to 3 weeks

A prioritised list of automation opportunities, each with the hours and cost it removes, plus a staged delivery plan and a decision gate.

Delivery after the assessment is staged and priced off the same $1,200 weekly run rate, against a plan you have already seen and agreed.

Q-Modernize

System health assessment

$3,600 to $4,8003 to 4 weeks

A written assessment of what is fragile and why, a staged modernization roadmap, and a decision gate before any build work starts.

Delivery after the assessment is staged and priced off the same $1,200 weekly run rate, against a plan you have already seen and agreed.

Q-Scale

Extend Your Product Team

This is the one path without a public number, and the reason is worth stating plainly.

Team-capacity scoping call

A clear picture of which roles and how much capacity would actually unblock your roadmap, and a retainer shaped around that — priced privately to your situation, not off a generic public rate.

Why there is no rate card here

A published per-role rate invites you to compare seats instead of outcomes, and it is the wrong number anyway. What a retainer costs depends on which roles are actually blocking your roadmap and at what seniority, and that is a short conversation rather than a table. The rate is confirmed in writing before you commit to anything.

The Guarantee

What is fixed in writing

On the three fixed-scope paths, these terms are part of the engagement, not a sales promise.

Fixed price and date

Once we scope the work, the price and delivery date are fixed in writing. Not an estimate that grows once we start.

You own the code from day one

Every repository is yours from the first commit. Nothing is held back or licensed back to you after the fact.

30-day post-launch warranty

If something we built breaks in the first 30 days after launch, we fix it at no additional cost.

Extend Your Product Team carries a different set of terms, because a fixed delivery date is not an honest promise for ongoing capacity. Its commitment covers named senior capacity, your ownership of the code and repositories, and a rate confirmed before you commit. See the commitment on that path's own page.

Not sure which path you are on?

Each solution page carries a calculator that prices your own situation before you speak to anyone. Or tell us what is stuck and we will point you at the right one.
